Meet Your Instructor

My name is Areej. I am a femme, purpose-led creative polymath, RYT 200, Holistic Pregnancy & Birth Partner, and Somatic Activated Healing (SAH Method™) Coach.

My pregnancy journey and experience giving birth in a strained hospital in the U.S. ignited my obsession with the connection between our physical bodies, inner consciousness, and how we move and show up in the world. I integrate everything I've learned through trauma-informed coaching and ayurvedic rituals and wisdom passed down for generations to help people reconnect with their sovereignty and inner connectedness, and become stronger and more fluid in doing so.

In these perinatal yoga workshops at the Northeast Community Center, I really want to support mamas in preparing and finding their center and strength, and I guarantee we will always do it to a thought-out playlist that’ll make you smile, “hmm”.
